Owl Pellet Dissection Experiment

Procedure

1: Observe pellet, describe, measure, draw pellet.

2:Carefully pull pellet apart using tweezers, pull out bones.

3:Sort bones and identify them. Record on lab sheet.

4: Assemble skeleton, glue to sheet.

5: Discuss and conclude what your animal ate.

Conclusion

In this dissection we were able to piece together the skeleton of an animal. We did it  with the owl pellet we received and with my table we mad the skeleton of what looked like a rat.
