Main Idea

When an ecosystem changes, plants and animals in that ecosystem can be harmed. Some animals survive changes better than others.

Vocabulary

Accommodation: An individual organism's response to change on the ecosystem.

Endangered: Close to extinction.

Extinct: All dead; no more left alive on Earth.

What happens when ecosystems change?

Animals make different accommodations to different changes an they survive.

They might move after a change and something good might happen.

If animals do not make the right accommodations they might die.
