7) The Lymphatic/ Immunity System: involves the lymph nodes, red bone marrow, thymus, lymphatic vessels, thoracic ducts and spleen.
-picks up fluid leaked into the blood vessels and returns it to blood
-disposes of debris in the lymphatic system
-the immune response mounts the attack against foreign substances within the body

8) The Respiratory System: involves the nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, lungs and branchus.
-keeps blood constantly supplied with oxygen and removes carbon dioxide.
-the gaseous exchanges occur through the walls of the air sacs of the lungs

9) The Digestive System: involves the oral cavity, esophagus, liver, stomach, small and large intestine, rectum and anus.
-breaks down foods into absorbable units that enter the blood for distributions to body cells
-indigestible foodstuffs are eliminated as feces

10) The Urinary System: involves the kindeys, ureter, bladder and urethra.
-eliminates nitrogenous wastes from the body
-regulates water, electrolyte and acid-base balance of the blood

11) The Reproductive System:
For Males the organs involved are the prostate gland, penis, testes, scrotum and ductus deferens.
For Females the organs involved are the mammary glands, ovaries, uterus, vagina and uterine tube.
-the overall function is the production of offspring
