The Women's Right Movement / Seneca Falls
The reform movements led to the growth of women's movements which allowed them to have more opportunities outside the house. Two ladies, Stanton and Mott held a women's right convention know as Seneca Falls Convention. It was named for the New York town it was held in. They argued that men and women are created equally. They approved several situations to encourage women to participate in all public issues with men. But they still could not vote.
