Pad, Low Cut Phantom Power, Gain
1. Pad - if pressed in will give an automatic 20dB
cut to the gain power. Useful for powerful mics.
2. Low Cut - useful for cutting the 100Hz and
below range out of channels that are mic’d to help prevent feedback. Drums and Bass would not be channels to have this feature on for.
3. Phantom Power - primarily for condenser microphones this switch has a light indicator when turned on. Exercise caution when using this feature as it could damage ribbon mics or cause popping if house volume is up when plugging or unplugging.
4. Gain - controls the sensitivity and amount of power of mic and line input. Adjusting the gain is going to impact how much volume the fader and master volume can output. Note: This can also affects Aux output.
