Birds
Birds have features such as hollow beaks, talons, feathers, and wings which helps in flying for most birds. Birds are warm-blooded which means they use homeostasis to control their body temperature. All birds are vertebrate and have a circulatory and respiratory system. Fossil evidence shows that birds first appeared during the Triassic Period. Two examples of scientific names are
Branta canadensis and Ardea cinerea. There are approximately 10,000 different species of birds in the world.
