Amphibians
Amphibians rose about 370 million years ago and were the first animals to venture out of water and adapt to live on land. Amphibians have slender bodies, a long tail, four legs, and moist skin. All amphibians go through egg, larva, and adult stages of development. Amphibians absorb air through their skin and with all the pollutants in the air it is causing them to go extinct. Two examples of scientific names are Bufo californicus and Eurycea rathbuni.
There are about 5,000 to 6,000 different species of amphibians in the world.
These are all different species of amphibians.
