Mollusks

The mollusks first appeared during the Cambrian period of the evolutionary calendar. All mollusks have a soft body, which is generally protected by an external shell. All mollusks have a soft unsegmented body with bilateral symmetry and they either have an internal or external shell. Mollusks have a complete, one-way digestive system with a mouth and an anus. Two examples of scientific names are Corbicula fluminea and Eupera cubensis. There are about 112,000 different species of mollusks in the world.

These are all different species of mollusks.
