Flat Worms

Flat worms are invertebrates that have bilateral symmetry. Most flat worms are flats and have simple nervous systems. Many are either parasites or free-living most eat and excrete waste from on hole. They have a one way digestive tract but don't have a respiratory system or a circulatory system. Flat worms can reproduce sexually or asexually. Two examples of scientific names are Callioplana marginata and Cycloporus venetus. There are over 20,000 species of know flat worms in the world.
