Arthropods

Arthropods are segmented animals and they have an exoskeleton for support and protection. The exoskeleton is shed during molting. Also arthropods have jointed appendages. Arthropoda also have very advanced sense organs such as faceted eyes or antennae. Arthropods also have an open circulatory system that allows the muscles to get energy quickly. Two examples of scientific names are Charidotella sexpunctata and Trachelophorus giraffa. There are approximately 10 million species of arthropods in the world.

These are all different species of arthropods.
