Max and Dave Fleischer: Mechanical Doll 1922 7.19
The Fliescher’s became famous for their invention of rotoscoping (and later Betty Boop), and this short-film from 1922 combines their animation skills, rotoscoping and live-action-film in a very early composited film - 60 years or so before Disney Studios made Who Framed Roger Rabbit? using similar techniques.
