Dna, mrna, tRNA, & rrna
DNA:
The information the DNA contains cannot be used without a decoding mechanism. The DNA not only requires a decoder, but a messenger too. The decoding and messenger functions are harried out by RNA, the second type nucleic acid.
mRNA:
It carries the "message" containing the instructions for building a polypeptide.
tRNA & rRNA:
Because rRNA & tRNA do not transport codes for synthesizing other molecules, they are the final products of the genes that code for them. Ribosomal RNA and tRNA act together to "translate" the message carried by mRNA.
