On the other hand the North had lots of food factories to make weapons for soldiers. They had a famous rail network at could transport soldiers and weapons really fast and not using a lot of money while doing it.
I think agriculture would be more important because a lot of money comes from agriculture for producing money worth crops. Without agriculture you can't trade a lot of things. You could trade weapons or uniforms but not cotton, tobacco, food without planting and growing it. I think agriculture would be before trading so I'm going to say agriculture is more important, and if they dont have enough food then they can just plant basic food like corn.
Yes there is social class concerning poor, middle class, and rich. Back then and even now they still have that. Rich people are considered those who have no trouble with money and have a lot of it coming into their homes and businesses. If they are "rich" they buy expensive products and use products so waste fully. People in middle class are those well off but not super rich or entirely poor. They can afford some pricey products but also use their money for cheap regular products. Poor people are considered to be living in low homes or moving from place to place. They can't afford a lot of things and they have to be scarce with money. Poor people use their money on needed things not wanted things, that's the social class I belive we have and we will always have it according to rich, middle, and poor.
The south made money through their strong agriculture. The Southerners produced crops that could make money such as cotton and tobacco. By producing these crops they made a lot of money off of them because other people from places wanted these crops and would pay lots of money for them.
