The lay of the land was a lot of grassy ridges and rocky terrains. The soldiers were lined up beside the grassy ridges and they would be armed for battle there.
The railroad was the most famous way of traveling or transporting to different parts of the south.
The geography drives the economy of your region because they have good soil for crops. The more the crops, the more traders they get and they get more money. The geography is close to the other states so they can trade there and get money.
