The five top inventions of the day during the civil war was:
1. Telegraph
2. Photography
3.Rifle/ Musket/ Minié Ball
4. Submarines
5. Railroads

The civil war had a lot more warfare technology that helped them improve war. If the weapons were more advanced it could kill more people. Some new warfare technologies they came up with was the more advanced musket. The previous musket could only hold 1 bullet at a time and you could only shoot from a near distance. The advanced musket could hold couple bullets and shoot from a farther distance. Also, the Minié ball was invented and this was a dangerous weapon. This was easy to load into guns and this iron tip bullet was so strong it could cut through a human's body in half a second crushing bones and piercing through muscles.

The civil war helped i prove our world today with the inventions they created. Back then, they invented photography and we still use that to this day. Photography is used to capture memorable moments and a lot of people take pictures everywhere we go. Railroads has made a big impact back then and even today. Trains was an easy way to transport to different states because they didn't have cars or planes. Horses and going on foot would take so long but trains were quick and easy. Just like today people travel through trains.
