The Woman's Rights Movement/ Seneca Falls
In the mid 19th century, the reform movements helped women gain more rights and allowed them to have more opportunities. Seneca Falls was a women's rights convention. Almost 300 women and men came to the Wesleyan Methodist Church for the convention. The people agreed to all parts of the Declaration of Sentiments including several parts which said men and women will be treated equally. The only thing women could not do yet was vote.
