Round Brush

Choose brush based on desired curl size.

Hair should be able to wrap 1 1/2 to 2 times around diameter. Can use multiple brush sizes on single client.

Apply prep product, dry hair 80-90%.

Section hair from hairline to nape. Subsection as needed.

Dry each panel of hair at the base. Elevate based on desired look and curl.

Slide brush down with curvature and continuing down mid shaft. 

Curl hair around brush from ends to scalp while drying and rotating brush. Unroll and roll hair until dry.

Hard Set:

Release hair

Reform curl with hands

Clip hair as volume pin curl

Hairspray(optional)

Form bricklaying pattern, To finish brush through hair.

Soft Set:

When hair is dry and rolled up on the brush remove blow dryer to allow hair to cool.

Release curl and repeat to rest of the head, to finish brush through hair.

Variation: Flat Round Brush Curls

For areas close to head

Dry at base 

Low elevation and directed opposite to comb-out direction to create indentation curl.

Pin the curl flat while warm, repeat over entire flat area.
