Graduated Angle Technique

Create safety section. Width of triangle determines size of the front perimeter.

Hold hair into gravity and cut safety section with secondary scissors position.

Find comb elevation by putting comb where the triangle lines meet.

Bring perimeter hair to comb elevation and cut to the guide.

Stand on side you're graduating, comb hair in side perimeter forward T to the section.

Determine comb elevation and point A and B.

Starting on the right side hold hair in your fingers to cut point A to B.

Create 1" subsections parallel to diagonal side parting

Determine comb elevation

Pick up part of subsection and some of the guide.

Recheck elevation, bring hair to it, check for guide and cut to it.

Continue until no more hair reaches guide, usually sections 1 and 2 won't reach.

Repeat process on left side.

Cross check with vertical sections held at same elevation it was cut.
