The Seneca Falls Convention was a convention about women's rights held in 1848. Nearly 300 men and women got together at the Wesleyan Methodist Church for the convention. Everyone at the convention approved all parts of the Declaration of Sentiments except for one part. The one part barely approved was for women being able to vote. The vote remained a controversial topic. Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott were major leaders in the women's rights movement.
