Elizabeth Stanton and Lucretia Mott held a women's right moment in 1848. At the Seneca Falls Convention, they quoted form the Declaration of Independence that "all men and women are created equal." About 300 mean no women attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church to listen to the convention.
