Abolition/Emancipation Leader

The most radical white abolitionist was William Lloyd Garrison. He was very active in religious reform movements.he started to deliver the message of immediate emancipation for the African American slaves. Other white abolitionists began agreeing with Garrison and joined the New England Anti-Slavery Society in 1832. People who opposed abolition hated Garrison.
