The Women's Rights Movement/Seneca Falls
In 1848 the was women's rights convention which is know as the Seneca Falls Convention. About 300 women and men attended the convention that was held at the Wesleyan Methodist Church. All the attendees agreed unanimously that women should participate in all public issues on an equal basis with men except one, the right to vote. But some did not care they said that they wouldn't vote even if they could.
