Puréed Diet
Each sample meal contains a total of about 1/4 cup of food.
Spices and seasonings are encouraged to use.
Remember to make each meal count and include essential fats in your food preparations.
All food items need to be blended, but not necessarily together.
Meal 1:
2T of puréed cheese omelet made with Eggbeaters, 1T hot cereal, 1T plain yogurt
Meal 2:
2T cottage cheese, 2T puréed fruit
Meal 3:
1T creamy peanut butter, 1T puréed fruit
Meal 4:
2T grated cheese, 1T blended polenta, 1T puréed roasted vegetables or marinara sauce
Meal 5:
2T fat free refried beans or hummus, 2 baked tortilla chips, 1T grated cheese, garnish with puréed salsa and non fat sour cream
Meal6:
2T mashed tuna or salmon salad with 1T light mayo, 1T puréed fruit
Meal 7:
2T mashed smooth egg or chicken salad with 1T light mayo, 1T pudding
Meal 8:
3T ricotta cheese, 1T marinara sauce, 1T sweet potatoes
Meal 9:
2T puréed meat with 1tsp gravy or broth, 1T pudding
