eating
- List physical activities you like
to do
- Avoid eating in front of the TV,
computer, IPad, etc.
- Avoid reading while eating, but
read between meals and at
bed time
- Park your car in the back of
parking lots and walk in
- Attend Bariatric Support Group
- Keep an exercise and food
diary
- Dedication and self control will
be your success after surgery
- Continue to use smaller bowls
and plates
- Brush your teeth after meals or when feeling the urge to eat before meal time
- Keep tempting foods away
from the pantry
- Never go grocery shopping
hungry
- Always plan meals ahead and
create a grocery list
- Always have high protein and
nutritional foods available
- Always (and continue to) eat
small portion sizes as outlined
by your dietician
