Gastric sleeve surgery is an irreversible procedure. Your lifetime commitment and behavioral modifications in following these guidelines will be the success of your weight loss, increased health benefits, and reduction of complications.

- use low fat foods

- stop using sugar

- use natural sugar substitutes like

Truvia or Stevia

- decrease consumption of desserts

and candy

- wean off caffeine and carbonated

beverages

- cut back on eating out

- begin preparing more of your own

meals using smaller portions

- prepare 3 meals a day

- shop for and eat more fruits and

vegetables

- chew foods thoroughly, 20-40 times

- sip water and beverages between

meals (drink 64oz of water)

- plan schedule for meals and fluids

- exercise

- fried and high fat foods

- sugar

- desserts and candy

- caffeine

- carbonated beverages
