Ku Klux Klan

The Ku Klux Klan was founded in 1866. This clan was consisted mainly of wealthy white men who were racist, and killed African Americans. This group was also made up of mombers of the republican party who didn't agree with President Andrew Jackson's policies. The clan was simply a campaign of violence against African Americans and even sometimes Carpetbaggers.

Klan members wore long white robes & hoods. They mostly attacked at night.
