Houses
Men and Women lived in different parts of the house. Women had the back and upstairs part of the house. Most houses were built from clay and stone. Roofs were built with tiles and reeds and houses had either one or two storeys. Floors were tiled to keep the houses cool and in winter fires were built. Large homes had a kitchen, a bathroom, a men's and a women's sitting area. Houses had high walls and a strong gate.
