Pincurling

Put your guest in a wet drape. Shampoo and condition the hair. Put your guest in a dry drape. You will need a blow dryer, comb, pin curl two prong clips, prep product, holding style product, and finishing product.

Step One: Comb thought the hair and apply prep product. Dry the hair fifty to sixty percent dry. Apply the holding style product. Section the hair with a side part.

Step Two: Take a half inch section on the larger side of the part. Comb through the section and ribbon the end. Form a circular curl against the head and wrap the rest of the hair inside the curl. Pin with a clip on the open side of the curl.

Step Three: Take your next section close to the first. Comb and ribbon the section without lifting the hair straight off the head. Make the curl and overlap the first curl. Repeat this procedure to make a row of overlapping pin curls to the back of the part on the crown of the head.

Step Four: Repeat the same procedure on the other side of the part. After that row, go back to the other side of the head and start a second row on that side.

Step Five: After each new row of overlapping pin curls. Repeat on each side of the head until both sides are done.

Step Six: Now form the curls on the back of the head connecting a circular row with the side rows.

Step Seven: Finish with a holding hairspray. Let the guest dry under a dryer for an hour or more until the curls are one hundred percent dry.

Step Eight: Take out all of the pin curl double prong clips from the hair. Using a paddle brush, brush through the curls. Start from the nape of the neck and move up to the crown of the head. Finish with hairspray.
