Basic Perimeter Areas and Possible Shapes
The perimeter is the outside design created by the hair when it falls into gravity. You could think of it as the skeleton of the haircut that supports the inside structure.
There are three parts to the perimeter:
Back perimeter: found when all of the hair in the nape and crown are is combed down.
Side Perimeter: found when all the hair from the side and top of the head is combed into gravity.
Front perimeter: found by combing down the hair in the front hairline. If the front perimeters above the bridge of the
Nose, it is sometimes called bangs or fringe.
