-Everyone was not hungry except for Jem.

-He tells them he does not want them there the day of the court case.

-Mr. Raymond actually likes the African American way of life, and prefers to hang around them rather than white people. He even had a relationship with an African American woman and a mixed child.
4. What new information does Scout learn about the Tom Robinson case?
-She learns that Atticus was appointed by the court and had to defend Tom whether he wanted to or not.
5. Where do the children end up sitting?
-The kids sat in the African American balcony near Reverend Sykes.
