Major Leaders in Aboliton/Emancipation
Reform and their Accomplishments
William Lloyd Garrison - He was the "most radical white abolitionist" who is a great participant of the Massachusetts religious reform movements. He wanted emancipation to occur immediately, meaning that he wanted all of the slaves to be freed for no cost.
David Walker was a freed slave who told many black slaves to fight for their own freedom instead of waiting for it. This worked and thousands and thousands of shaves were freed and had the ability to obtain jobs.
