AM = Abolition Movement
Many females were participating in getting rid of slavery, but these two were the bigger factors in the abolishment movement.
Sarah and Angelina Grimké were sisters both against slavery. Angelina published An Appeal to Christian Woman of the South in 1836, which she stated she wanted woman to overthrow their rules and get to make new ones.
They also raised mone, wrote stories, and got signatures for the petitions for the Congress.
