Woman in Abolition

Information

Woman in Abolition

1800s

WA = Woman in Abolition

Most woman took part in trying to get rid of things like slavery and were trying to make the world better no matter what.

Woman worked hard to get rid of things, especially slavery, in meetings. Some would even get thrown out for saying things they should not have.

Men started to agree with woman from this case on, and woman started to take more of a part in getting rid of abolition. But some men were still against them, as the clergy says to them that they are speaking like they are men but they are not.

Woman stood up for what they thought no matter what
