Thirst control is controlled by the negative feedback mechanism because when our body is thirsty, it is lacking water/ deficient in it. Therefore,in order for our body to reach the optimum level of water once again, we need to drink. By drinking fluids we return our body back to our optimum level, thus it is a negative feedback mechanism.
