33 Retouch Re-Establish Application
Use application when a guest has full head color w/new growth appearing at scalp plus color has faded 1-2 levels at midlengths and ends.
✔️Section hair into 4 quadrants
✔️Apply protective cream to guest’s skin and hairline
✔️Mix color in small batches to keep color active
✔️Outline back right quadrant
✔️Use tail of brush to take ¼” subsection, clip remaining hair away
✔️Use color brush to apply formula to new growth
✔️Work up toward pt of distribution, pivot subsections slightly toward right ear to eventually finish w/a vertical subsection @ end of quadrant
✔️Outline back left quadrant and repeat process
✔️Move to front right quadrant
✔️Take vertical subsection from pt of dist. to top of ear, clip rest of hair forward
✔️Apply product to new growth, lay each subsection back away from face
✔️Outline front left quadrant, repeat process
✔️Check product coverage
✔️Apply protective cream on neck and place foil over
✔️Reestablish color on midlengths and ends
✔️Start at nape in back right quad, lay sub over gloved hand, apply formula to midlength, overlap w/new growth formula to assure coverage
✔️Apply up to or through ends, depending on porosity
✔️Strand test to check for color balance
