Round Brush Styling Technique
10 Round Brush
Choosing The Right Brush:
The correct brush should have hair wrap at least 1-2 times around its diameter.
▪️Larger brush=larger curl/wave patters ▪️Smaller brush=tighter pattern.
✔️Apply styling aid and dry the hair to 80–90% dry.
✔️Section the hair either in a center part or a side part to the crown and then continue down the center to the nape.
✔️Stand directly in front of section you are styling & rotate brush towards you.
✔️Pick up a panel of hair that is no wider & no longer than length & diameter of the bristles of brush.
✔️Lift hair to desired elevation, & place brush @ scalp.
▪️Higher elevation=stronger base of the curl, and less mobility.
▪️Note: standard elevation is 90º for more volume & 45º for less volume.
✔️Keeping hair @ correct elevation, dry the hair. Concentrate the heat at the base of the hair.
✔️After base dried, slide brush w/some curvature toward mid-shaft & dry midshaft.
✔️Slide brush through hair ends & dry ends.
✔️Curl hair around brush all the way from ends to scalp, while drying & rotating brush. Make sure all ends are curled smoothly into brush. Unroll hair & roll it again until hair is dried evenly.
