Tissue Repair
First the inflammatory chemicals are released so the blood vessels get larger to allow white blood cells and clotting proteins to pass through. Then clotting starts and a scab is formed on the surface. Granulation tissue is formed, and capillary buds let blood in debris is removed. Finally the scab goes away and the epithelium regenerates.
